Steam and Process Insulation

Rockwool Process Pipe Sections are used in operating temperatures up to 700 °C; they are non-combustible and strong enough to provide thermal insulation and noise reduction. The sections are usually hinged for snap-on assembly and they are suitable for the insulation of steal pipework in chemical plants, petrochemical plants and power stations.

Advantages include easy handling and installing, excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, suitable in high temperature use and water resistant. Rockwool products are specifically manufactured to meet the specification requirements of large industrial users.

The performance of Rockwool Process pipe sections proves to have good fire performance, water resistant, chemically inert and they give effective protection for the lifetime of the pipes that they insulate. They offer no sustenance to vermin and do not encourage the growth of mould and bacteria.

Steam & Process Insulation is commonly used for Steam & Process pipework. We offer a variety of insulation including Rockwool Plain Pipe Section and Rockwool Wired Mat.
