Class 1 High Temperature Insulation is for use on temperatures up to 150 degrees celcius (continuous) to 175 degrees celcius (intermittent). This type of insulation is sunlight and UV resistant. It has a specific temperature range of -50°C to +150°C, it can be installed outside without additional protective measures. This insulation is oil resistant and has low thermal conductivity. Suitable for applications of thermal insulation for pipework, vessels and ducts in solar panels including outdoors, motor vehicles, hot gas lines, steam and dual temperature lines.
Class 1 High Temp insulation meets the growing demand for a reliable and environmentally friendly flexible material for use at higher temperatures. It has a built-in vapour barrier to prevent condensation, improve resistance and reduce smoke development in the event of a fire. This insulation is lightweight and flexible, quick and easy to install with low maintenance requirements resulting in time and cost savings.
